Sidebar Options
This page describes the options you have in regards to the display of your sidebar.
The sidebar is the narrow column running down the right hand side of this page. You can control the following features of this sidebar. - Sidebar Switch: First, you can turn the entire sidebar on or off. That is, your site can have a one column layout (no sidebar) or a two column layout (with sidebar). If you turn the sidebar off, sidebar feature buttons (home, contact, comments, sitemap) are moved to the bottom of the page.
 - About This Site: You can turn the "About This Site" feature at the top of the sidebar on and off. If your sidebar is on, you can upload an image for display at the top of the sidebar.
- Contact Author: The "Contact Author" button allows site visitors to send you a private email. You can turn this feature on or off.
- Sitemap: The "Sitemap" button links to a searchable sitemap, which visitors will find handy as your site grows. You can turn this feature on or off.
- Subscribe Form: Visitors can subscribe to receive a brief announcement every time you add a new article to your site. You can turn this feature on or off.
- Sidebar Content: You can use the Ad Manager section of your control panel to add any content to the sidebar of every page.
Your sidebar can contain any combination of the features described above. Individual features can be toggled on or off using your Page-Engine control panel.
