Would you like your readers to be able to add comments to the end of your articles? If yes, use the Comment Manager to turn this feature on, and control how it is used.
Allowing your readers to add their comments to the end of your articles can enrich your site, and help build interest among your visitors.
Not all visitors wil have your best interests at heart though, so it's important to have a comment management system that keeps you in control of the content on your site.
This page describes the features that are available for managing comments on your Page-Engine site.
On And Off
First, you can turn the comment feature on and off with a single click.
If you turn comments on, a reader comment form will appear on all your pages.
If you turn comments off, readers won't be able to add comments, and any comments that have already been added will not be displayed.
Moderation
If you turn comments on, you can turn moderation on, and review and approve every new comment before it is added to your site.
Or, if you turn moderation off, readers will be able to add comments to your site without your involvement.
If moderation is off, you can choose to receive an email alerting you to each new comment. This email contains a link you can use to delete any unwelcome comments.
